We've divided our magic tricks into several categories. A description of each is given below. You can use the navigation bar to the left to move through the catalog.
Children's Magic: These effects are especially suited for performing for children. This does not stop them from being capable of fooling and entertaining adults when well routined. Often times, it is referred to as birthday party magic. Many items under the Parlor Magic category also fit this theme.
Closeup Magic: "Close-up " magic deals with those types of tricks that can be performed effectively one on one, or to a small group of about ten or less. Examples would be magic at parties, or for a small group of friends, table-side performances at restaurants, and some street or sidewalk magic. Close up performances generally involve CARDS, COINS, MONEY and other small objects that can be easily carried in your pocket.
Mentalism Tricks: Any magic that is attributed to the powers of the mind. They may fit into any of the other categories as far as venues or products.
Parlor Magic: The name "parlor" magic comes from the word parlor, as in the den, family room, or formal sitting room of a home, where guests are usually greeted and entertained. As we are using it here, parlor magic assumes a stage performance, but one in a more intimate setting. While some of these tricks may be angle sensitive, so that having a wall immediately behind the performance area is critical, or that a few feet of distance from the audience is necessary, they are much less restrictive in their performance requirements than those listed under stage magic. Most of the tricks in our parlor section are also suitable for professional stage performances.
Stage Magic: By "stage" here, we mean a raised theater stage. The illusions listed in this section are specifically designed to be clearly seen by a very large number of people. As such they may be a bit bulkier than our parlor magic selection, and may also have more stringent angle and distance restrictions.
Very Easy: Never done magic before? No problem! Want to pick up a quick trick to make that special point in a sales meeting or break the ice at a party? We’ve got just the thing! The tricks listed in this section require no skill, and very little practice. They are suitable both for children and adults. And don’t worry, while these tricks may be easy to do, they will astound and amaze even your most cynical friends!
Fire: Anything listed this section involves fire or explosions, and as a result, a certain inevitable level of danger. We absolutely WILL NOT SELL ANY OF THESE EFFECTS TO MINORS! We will require proof of age. Only purchase orders from adults will be accepted. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Gospel: While almost any effect can be routined for use in gospel magic, the tricks in this section are specifically designed for Christian teaching and the delivery of the gospel message. Christian symbols such as the Cross, the image of Christ and the Devil are incorporated into many of these products. Please see our books and videos section for a number of books on how to use your existing magic props for gospel routines.
Accessories: Listed in this section are those items that may not be magic tricks themselves, but are indispensable to any professional magician’s performance. Examples include silks, magician’s rope, wands, and thumb tips, just to name a few.
